Marhaban Ya Ramadhan!

Marhaban Ya Ramadhan!
Minal Aidzin Wal Faidzin, mohon maaf lahir dan batin semua!
semoga ramadhan membawa banyak berkah :)

HUGS! :D) ada instant creamy icing! worth a try.

hasilnya malah spt icingnya cupcake, vanilla buttercream tapi lebih kental. nahlo. sempet ribet banget gue menghiasnya karena gue pengennya icing melebar ke seluruh permukaan cookie, padahal creamy = bukan pouring consistensy.

jadinya gue lebarkan manual pake tusuk gigi. mencong mencong pulak karena gue ke distrak menghias sambil nonton CSI:TRILOGY. (Don Flack ganteng banget kan yaaaa) HAHAHA. kebiasaan masak sambil nonton tv bener-bener harus dihentikan.

Enak sih, tapi muaaniiisss banget.
gue doyan kue tapi tetep aja ga doyan kalo terlalu manis. bikin batuk. dan pilek. dan bengek. dan yak, lain-lain seterusnya.

gue iseng mencoba bikin sugar cookie hati trus ditulis mom and dad. bisa dilihat, yak, mencong-mencong ga karu-karuan.

aniwe, bagaimana kabar kalian semua? ada yg punya rencana khusus diramadhan ini? target gue mau qhatam quran! bismillah! semangat! :D

PS : iniloh cookie cutter kirimannya jeng @putrimatahari . lucu banget kaaaaannn!!

Spice up your fish and chips

We all know how good fish and co's fish and chips is, aight? Here's what you can do to make it even better! Or, to simply have - a little outside of the usual-fish-and-chips-box experience. Ask for extra chilli sauce and the lemon butter sauce ( the white sauce they sprinkle on top of ur fried fish). Pour the sauce over the fish and spread the chilli sauce. Plus, u can always exchange the french fries with Paella rice. That yellow rice IS yummy. I'm telling you. It might seems awkward to have raisins and paprikas in your rice, but raisins give you sweet hints and paprika give the right portions of heat and tangy. Enjoy!

Vegetable Samosa

Vegetable samosa is an indian food, it's like indonesian's pastel, thou with a sturdier shell, filled with curry potato, beans and other veggies. It's supposed to be an appetiser, but with size like these i'm full just by munching two of them. One bite and ur mouth filled with this soft potato curry, occasionally u'll bite into one of the beans and those lil babies will exploded, giving you sweet flavour, Asking you to bite some more. Oh how i love asian food. Spices rule! Munch them @ Kinara, Sogo Foodhall Pondok Indah Mall.

Volcano Salad

I totally understand why they called this Volcano Salad. Because the sashimi wrapped is sweet and cool, and then suddenly when you bite into them, a suprise heat exploded in ur mouth, due to their special hot sauce and chopped cabe rawit inside. With the vegetable rolled into this salmon sashimi, it's totally healthy and the perfect-after-exercise kinda salad. It's texture are both soft-melt in your mouth due to the salmon sashimi, crabstick, avocado, also munchy, fresh and crispy in your mouth due to the brocolly and lettuce.

Chicken Wings!

I hate deep frying. It’s hot, sticky and urgh. I prefer bake instead. All you need to do is dump everything into the oven, set the timer, sit back and relax.

But for some reason i can’t explain my oven refused to work today, leaving me with no choice but to deep fry my lovely chicken wings.

I first discovered this recipe by Pak Bara in one of his recipe books, though i tweaked it a little bit.

I exchange sugar for honey and i wanted to bake it. ( did i mention I hate deep frying?). hey, baked stuff is way healthier than fried stuff!

Needless to say, i deep fry my little baby chicken and ate like 18 pieces. Hm. (dang, it’s yummy!)

All you need is :

12 chicken wings

Marinate :

2 sdt turmeric

2 sdt ginger

2 sdt corriander

1 sdt garlic

1 sdt chilli

1 sdt sugar ( i do honey)

1 sdt black pepper

2 sdt salt

You can either have the marinate ingredients finely chopped or you can get the powder ones, which is a lot easier and save a lot of time.

Marinate  the chicken for minimum 1 hours, but it will get tasti-er ( is that even a word?)
 if you leave it overnight.

And put the oven to 120 C, bake for roughly 10-12 minutes.

Or you can well, deep fry it. Ha. Good luck with that. Enjoy!
