Decorating Class

I always wanted to take cooking classes. i have done my chezlely classes, and i want more!
sometimes it's not just about the class, it's about meeting new people, widen our boundaries. and i have problem learning just from the books. i need to see, i need to hear and i need to do when i learn something new, especially cooking.

so when i heard that loyang is holding courses, i sign up.

loyang is a baking store you could find along the road of monginsidi owned by a friendly owner, teh uceu and her husband chef wijaya ( hope i get the name right. not really good at that department!). i signed up for decorating with buttercream course and cupcake course
pertamanya kita belajar memakai berbagai spuit dari yang plain sampai berbentuk. kita belajar bagaimana memegangnya, mengatur tekanan, dan bentuk apa saja yang bisa dibuat dari satu model spuit. setelah belajar diboard, kita pindah ke kue.
pegel banget bok, my back was kinda killing me back then. ( we have to bend a little when we decorate) but it's all worth it and freakingly fun. i can't wait to embrace my days as a pastry chef :). still need to learn so many things, though.

ps : i have no idea why tp gue selalu jd anak yg paling muda dikelas-kelas beginian. waktu chezlely, yang palin deket beda dua tahun. gue jd cewek sendiri yg lagi, surrounded by om2. gue jd anak bawang yang paling kiyut ( pede bodo amat lah ya ;p )
kemaren, gue ditanya. "kerja dimana ya?"
waks. "baru mau masuk kuliah.. hahaha" gue jawab dengan innocent.
"oalah, pantesan masih bawang mukanya!"
